Vespian was not only the first Italian Emperor, but the first not born from the line of Ceaser. Vespian was very wise and began building Rome back up after the rules of Caligula and Nero. He stopped spending money on anything extravagant or unneeded and when he did spend money he did it wisely. Vespian did create one extravagance, he built the Colocceum. The Colocceum was built in the place of Neros golden temple. It was built for gladiator and animal fights which the Roman people loved. Today it is one of Romes most famous buildings.
Vaspian was the first Italian emperor and he wasn’t petty like Rome was. Rome didn’t have to be jealous of the Italians.
Titus had a very good reputation even before he became emperor. Titus was very kind and won over the people with love, not fear, like many before him had. Unfortunatly, all in Titus’ reign there was: another great fire in Rome, a devastating plague, and the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. Titus made plans to fix and rebuild, but he never got a chance to. He passed away from a fever.

vespasian was the first italian leader. vespasian was a man of charecter. there was only one war during his reign
Vespasian, who was the first emperor that wasn’t Italian or from the line of Julius Caesar, was a good leader who replenished the treasury which had been emptied by Caligula and Nero and built the Colosseum (in place of the Golden House of Nero), which the Romans enjoyed very much. Vespasian also rebuilt several of the important buildings altered in the reign of Caligula and the reign of Nero. His son Titus, who succeeded him after his death, was a feared general, but quickly changed the Roman people’s views by becoming a kind and peace-loving emperor. After he died (because of a fever on the way to his country house), his younger brother Domitian succeeded him. Domitian was a cruel emperor who raised the payments of his soldiers, forcing the rich people to pay. Domitian was worried about a successor and the fact that a plot might be forming against him, so many people were killed, even the people who hadn’t done anything wrong, Soon, a plot formed against him, and his wife joined it. When he was assassinated, the soldiers mourned but the Senate forbade his name to be remembered among Rome.
After the fire that happened in Nero’s reign, Vespasian rebuilt much of the city like Nero wanted to. Instead of beautifying it he made it better. He had to tear down the Golden Palace to do so, but in its place he put the Colosseum.
I like how Vespasian restored the treasury and then Titus continued his work. I feel like that is rare for Rome. Reading the account of Pliny was very interesting. We should have read it in science. And then there was another bad emperor. And his wife killed him. 🙂

vespian was italian, he pulled down the golden house of nero and built the great amphitheater on part of its site, before he became emperor he commanded the army there, but when in 70 ad the jews broke again in revolt, titus, the son of vespian was sent to quell the disturbance, vespian ruled for 10 years, never sparing himself where work was concerned, but towards the end of his life he was advised to take more rest
