  1. I found the vocabulary helpful, and enjoyed the read. It’s fun to learn about the Roman lifestyle!! I think Roman houses are cool, and it would be fun to live in one, but I prefer the technology we have now. I liked being mentally able to “follow the Romans around their city and homes”. I did not know that the important statues of the gods and important Roman belongings were kept in the atrium. I also didn’t think there was a such thing as the Romans “painting pictures of their ancestors”, but it is possible now that i think about it.
