John Wesley was a famous preacher of the 18th century. After coming into contact with the Moravians on his way to Georgia, he was deeply impressed by their piety. After returning to London, he heard Martin Luther’s Preface to Romans and said, ‘I felt my heart strangely warmed.’
He helped to found the Methodist movement and was a key figure in the Great Awakening. Watch the video below to learn more about John Wesley. Tell me below what you think about the holy club that Wesley founded. Would you have been interested in joining a club like the “Methodists?”
I don’t think I would like to join a Methodist group. I’m not serious enough. I like places that you can laugh and have fun and learn about Christ.

I never heard of him until today and that there were 19 kids
Wow 19 kids is a lot and 10 of them died. That’s rough.
That Holy Club was serious. They met from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and fasted on Wednesdays and Fridays.
I couldn’t do that! I am DEFINITELY NOT serious enough to be like them.
