At FJCL State we have a day that’s just Ludi and we play all kinds of games.
It is interesting to think about historical figures the way that the video presented them. I enjoyed the video. i found 7 titles/offices that Octavian/ Augustus had, though.
Octavius had a lot of offices, and he did a good job following in the footsteps of Julius. Did anything else important happen on the Ludi Saeculare besides the hymn, the consultation of the Sibylline books, and the sacrifices to all the gods?
Augustus Caesar gain his power by the vote of the Senate? I didn’t know that.
I didn’t know that he had a thing against unmarried people.
I didn’t know there was a penalty for being unmarried! Also Augustas helped Rome a lot by improving the tax system, building roads, and constructing many buildings
