Unless you just happened to stumble across this bit of internet real estate, you are probably here because you want to learn more about me. I’m flattered. Note: If you did accidentally find this page, it’s okay trespassing is not forbidden, and I don’t believe that accidents are real.

I am a pastor, husband, dad, IT nerd, movie-buff, theologian, philosopher, and all-around nice guy. I’ve been called a jack of all trades and I wear that hat proudly, though I prefer the term Renaissance man. I think it sounds more highfalutin.

Below, you should be able to see more information about me in the form of a sort of digital resume, links to sermons I have preached, as well as links to the variety of different places online that I write. If you are interested in having me speak, please feel free to reach out to me. I rarely turn down an opportunity to preach the glories of Jesus Christ. If you would like me to write for your publication or website then I would probably be happy to do that as well, just use the contact page on this site and I’ll get back with you soon. Thank you.

Daily Bible Reading Podcast

I host a daily podcast where I am seeking to read through the Bible chronologically in a year. I’d love to have people take this journey with me, for encouragement and accountability. Each episode is about 20-30 minutes depending on the length of the reading for the day. We begin with prayer, then I read the assigned passage (usually about 3 chapters) and then I give a few minutes of reflection on what we just read. Pretty simple. If you’d like to join in, we also have a Facebook group to discuss the readings and share prayer requests, etc.

Redeemer Baptist Church at Romeo

I’m one of the pastors at this small church on the north side of Dunnellon, Florida. I usually preach once a month or so there.

Academia Aletheia

A Biblical worldview is the overarching way that Christians should interpret reality. However, our culture offers competing viewpoints that are often attractive but are false. I write about any number of cultural things here from politics, history, economics, and philosophy and seek to train believers in the truth. Hence the name, Academia Aletheia, Academy of Truth.

Life at the Movies

Movies are the storytelling medium of our day, and the stories a culture tells reveal so much about what is important to them. I see film analysis as a way to explore and engage with the big questions that our culture is wrestling with and to answer their questions with biblical truth.

Other Sermons

These sermons were preached over the course of a year-long experiment. I started a rural house church. I preached through the book of Colossians and into Acts. Eventually, we chose to join our church to an established Church the next town over, but I have kept the sermons here for posterity.
